More Than a Pizza - It's a Community.
Pizza on the Green was founded in Bures (on the Suffolk / Essex border) in 2021, beginning with stone-baked pizza collections during Covid then pitching up in a gazebo at the entrance to Bures Common. After a few months of successful trading and a fantastic welcome from the local community, we invested in a horsebox trailer (converted by Felstead Catering Conversions). We have loved getting to know our customers over the years and hope to continue building relationships (and serving up delicious pizzas!) for many years to come.

Pizza on the Green was founded in Bures (Our hand-stretched pizzas are all 12” sourdough, generously topped with fresh, high quality ingredients such as roasted portobello mushrooms, ‘Properoni’ pepperoni (containing no nitrates or nasties), British chicken breast, Peppadew Piquanté peppers and WilderBee hot honey – crafted with bee-friendly, organic wildflower honey, infused with scotch bonnet chillies.
