I have been a regular customer at Pizza on the Green for the last twelve years and give it the highest recommendation. It has the atmosphere of a well run charming local trattoria or pizzeria you would find in many a small town in Italy and its imaginative wall paintings of houses and alleyways crafted with their true perspective add to the illusion of enjoying a real meal abroad. Service is good and friendly. There is a large choice of pizzas, from the generally well-known ( margherita. cheese, tomato or spinach based) to some specially created imaginative variations to please many palates.A huge selection of pastas offers variations of spaghetti, penne, lasagne. tortellini, linguini ,.fusilli with sauces for all tastes including vegetarian. A large range of starters offers a choice including various salads, mushrooms, mussels, soup or sardines. There is a separate menu of specials with a wide variety of gourmet treats with beef, lamb, veal and fish dishes. There is a good variety of wines plus a vintage champagne. One of the best evenings out in Ealing with good value for money.

Pizza on the Green is consistantly superb. The food was excellent and both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our pasta. The atmosphere is inspired, as is the use of tiled mosaics and lights on the wall to give a real authentic Italian feel to the place. It was packed out too - and consistently is, every time I pass. The only fault was the service which was a bit slow, but otherwise, terrific.
